Population: 714,000
Includes the island of Tasseris. The Aurelian peninsula is heavily populated along its west coast and has many large cities. A good portion of the urban population depends on food from Scadria and Rivardea.
Aurelians are an independent, intellectual, and wealthy people who wield a lot of power in the Empire and the known world.

Bourdonne: Trade center, connects mining and lumber towns upriver to coastal ports specializing in manufacture. High population, high crime and corruption. Center for the worship of the goddess Visetta. Bourdonne has a substantial Ralubian population.

Maldonne: Capital of Aurelia and center of culture. Trade center connecting Aurelia with the ports of the Albir Gulf, especially Caracand. Center for the worship of Maletta. Has a university.
Road of Gadricas: There exists a legend that a secret tunnel runs through the crags surrounding Maleter, and that once King Gadricas of Aveter used it to gain access to the city.
Tirreter: Capital of Tasseris. A university and resort town, inhabited by wealthy patricians who own businesses on the mainland. The library of her University boasts one of the two complete copies of the Tales of the Carnelian Coast known to exist.

Savideche
Area: 87,800 sq km
Population: 637,000
Known historically for its fearsome warriors, Savideche managed to maintain its independence from the expanding Empire, but now pays an annual tribute for the privilege. She is a feudal kingdom on the verge of a highland frontier inhabited by herders, miners, hunters, and trappers. Beastman and hill tribes dwell on her borders. The symbol of Savideche is a stylized, prowling cantache.
